Gito is a young African intellectual returning home from France with numerous academic degrees and ministerial ambitions. Gradually his ambitions are crushed by the daily realities of his country. A rich narrative full of cultural depictions, cliche comical clashes of cultural practices, and a unique family dynamic chastising the sings of vanity. This is the first 35mm feature out of the republic of Burundi, Since making Gito L’Ingrat Leonce Ngabo, relocated to Canada and produced several film festivals.

One day in the life of a young boy who survives, like most people in the village, because of the dump. He grew there, he found his food there and today he collects the objects of its trade.
