Summary:

This is the story of an 11year old rebellious girl that struggles against her mother's wishes in order to break free from the norms of society.
Ravneet Chadha was born and raised in India, where she completed a bachelor’s degree in psychology. After studying business in Canada, she moved to Nairobi in 1997 working in finance. She joined Hot Sun Films in 2004 and since then has produced four films and written and directed two films.  Subira won the ‘Best Short film’ award at its film festival debut at the Kenya International Film Festival 2007.  Her current focus is the Kibera Kid feature film project, for which she is the producer.
