Who Framed Roger Rabbit?

Country:United States of America

Director:Robert Zemeckis and Richard Williams

Program:Parallel Youth

Year:
1988

Summary:

Blending traditional animation and live action, the film is set in a fictionalized version of 1947 Los Angeles, where animated characters are real beings who live and work alongside humans in the real world, most of them as actors in animated cartoons. In the movie's milieu, cartoon characters are a sapient species cohabiting alongside human beings, though unlike them, ‘Toons’ are not bound by the laws of physics. In an effort to discover why Roger can't keep his mind on his work, his boss R.K. Maroon hires washed-up private detective Eddie Valiant to investigate. Who Framed Roger Rabbit is a landmark film that sparked the recent era in American animation.
