Summary:

This film profiles the life of a young South African musician, Unathi living abroad driven by her gusto for life and single minded determination to succeed against all odds. The story explores her bitter-sweet rural beginnings against the backdrop of an impoverished childhood in the Mdantsane location of the Eastern Cape. What reigned supreme was realizing her dream and passion to pursue a career in music. Unathi determinedly refuses to succumb to the status quo and chooses to take her struggle an extra mile as she bravely embarks on the unknown and ends up in the Far East.
