Two teenage girls encounter problems of growing up. Summary:
George Sengendo’s first television drama is one of the first narrative works of a feature length to be made in the country. Talking to children about issues of sexuality is still a taboo among typical Ugandan families. The young Nabakaabya, who is a teenager at a boarding school, is a victim of this silence. Her mother foresees the dangers of adolesence for her daughter but she is too timid to broach the subject. She finally seeks the guidance of a traditional healer who prescribes a solution but in the meantime Nabakaabya has become pregnant.
